About Wearable Computing


Wearable ComputingA person's computer should be worn, much as eyeglasses or clothing are worn, and interact with the user based on the context of the situation. Consequently, computer is always with user, is comfortable and easy to keep, and is as unobtrusive as clothing. It can be used while walking or otherwise moving around.

A wearable computing should be able to convey information to its user even when not actively being used. It is always on and working, sensing and acting. A wearable computing can act as an intelligent assistant.

A wearable computing consists of a central processing unit, batteries, indicating devices, feeding apparatus, monitoring and sensors. Furthermore, a wearable computing has usually positioning and communication devices.

In brief, wearable computing can be used in many applications and environments. It is a notable alternative in personal communication such as navigation, computer can navigate helping user.
