Positioning

Positioning means, that user's location is known satisfactory tidily and quickly. User's location can be known and circumstances of the location can be deduced by positioning.

The benefit of positioning is that user's location can be detected and as a result of that possible value added network services. User can order needed services, and equipment  informs when the services are neighbourhood. Positioning and value added network services can be arranged so that user coming new place, where services would be serving, user chooses interesting alternatives, after that system start to observe the services.

Outfield user's location can be detected by GPS (Global Positioning System) and interior, by using active transmitters for example. A global positioning is achieved by GPS and its accuracy is about 100 metres. Few metres is achieved by more advanced differential GPS (DGPS). As well as in limited space, for example in a room, active transmitters can be achieved few centimetres.
