TUT Department of Electronics provides an
excellent infrastructure for research of printed electronics. Three closely
related research groups, Organic electronics, Printable electronics and Electronics packaging and
reliability share dedicated laboratory of over 250 m2,
including 60m2 dust-free laboratory room hosting most of the
printing equipments.
Printing equipments include two pilot
scale ink-jet (iTi MDS 2.0), desktop inkjet (Dimatix DMP-2831), gravure
(NSM Labratester), flexo (RK Flexiproof), and screen (DEK) printing units.
Laboratory equipments include semi
automatic flip-chip bonder (Toray), microassembly equipment (Fineplacer),
thermo-mechanical analyzer, PCB milling machine, optical profilometer,
network analysers, signal generators, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes,
semiconductor parameter analyser, fibre-laser, spin coater, drop watchers
and viscosimeters.
